Task 23.Plan and collect all props and costumes.

We have planned and collected all props and costumes which we belive are perfect in our music video. Our singers have a rap-hip hop style costumes wide jeans caps and so on. Our main hero in a video has simple sport costume. We also got some props for the movie like gym where main action is going also skipping rope and of course camera.

22.Cast your film and take casting shots. Blog your reasons for casting.

We have chosen two actors which re perfect on the roles of rappers they both love rap, hip hop and basketball. They are both friends like 50 cent and dr DRE in the video they can act like them perfectly especially if considure that one of them looks like real copy of Curtis Jackson (50 cent). We belive they will do great job in our movie.

17.Create a story arc for the whole of your video; write a brief synopsis

This is a brief synopsis of our storyline:

At first we see a person working out and taking a break. the music starts to kick in and the scene changes to the rapper who starts off the song...
Our Music Video shows the struggle of an upcoming boxer (our underdog) who works hard in order to achieve success in boxing. The training scenes will be in black and white, a way to intensify the scene, while the rapper will most likely be shown in colour. This will create a sort of past to present effect. The song and the clip will come to a conclusion at the end.

An extra task: Stop Motion

This video is made with stop motion and our top actors: Anna and Paul! The music is an extract "Hustler" by Simian Mobile Disco, all rights belong to the artist.

16.Define the key elements you must include in your video to conform to the expectations of the genre you have chosen, the audience you have chosen and what is expected of your video. Make a check list

- beat matching

- very complex produced music videos

- a lot of effects

- XXL costumes: baggy pants, bling-bling (watches, necklaces), basketball shoes, caps

- show their richness (clothes, cars, houses)

-extras: - in most of the videos there are several actors, not just one

- videos mostly take place in big cities or their so called “Ghettos”

- in some videos they show a story as well as the rapper singing

- a lot of close-up shots
